【With Tomobako (Paulownia Box) and Cloth, Excellent Condition】Rin Tanyu Mizusashi (Freshwater Container) - Shonzui Nenkin Yōshu - Gozan Kiln - Kyōyaki - Gold Glaze - Tea Ceremony Utensil

This is one of the tea ceremony utensils that my grandmother cherished.
I am listing it for sale as I am organizing my belongings.

This is a mizusashi (water container) by the Kyoto ware artist Tanyu Hayashi,
and it is a work with the prestigious design known as Shonzui Nenkine Yōshu.

Based on sometsuke (blue and white porcelain), the round patterns are depicted with aka-e (red painting) and gold accents.
The intricate depiction of figures and landscapes is exceptionally beautiful,
resulting in an elaborate and elegant finish.
It has a strong presence and would surely stand out in a tea ceremony setting.

Designs like this Shonzui Nenkine Yōshu are rarely seen in circulation today, making this a highly rare piece.
(The box is inscribed with Tanyu Hayashi Mizusashi Shonzui Nenkine Yōshu)

It comes with its original wooden box (tomobako) and wrapping cloth.
