This is a listing for a monoband 21MHz wire dipole antenna. It is lightweight and compact, making it convenient for portable operation. Its compact size allows it to fit easily into a backpack, making it very useful for mountain operations.
Operation Check
As shown in the 10th image, the SWR is 1.5 or less within the band.
The antenna was adjusted by raising it to about 4.5m with a pole and tensioning it in an inverted V shape with both ends at about 2m.
If the SWR deviates significantly in your environment, please adjust the element length. We have provided some extra length in the elements.
Please operate in a location with as few obstructions as possible. The SWR will not decrease if there are power lines or metal fences nearby.
About the Balun
We have adopted a simple structure float balun type (sorter balun).
Five turns of twisted enameled wire (0.7mm) are wound on the inside of an FT82-43 material (genuine) toroidal core.
The solid wire side is connected to the red terminal, and the braided wire side is connected to the black terminal.
About the Elements
The thickness is unknown. The length of each side is approximately 3.2m. It is light and thin, making it easy to handle.
