Description

This is a converter that allows you to play Master System/Mark III software (both Japanese and international versions) on a Mega Drive console. It has two cartridge slots. The upper slot is exclusively for international Master System/Mark III software, and the rear slot is exclusively for Japanese Master System/MKIII software. It does not support 3D glasses, but it appears that Sega's official Card Catcher can be used with card-type software.
We received a detailed report with examples of modifications on the Famicon Gen'eki website, which is very helpful. (Original cassette labels are also distributed.)
*Operation is not guaranteed for all software.
*When playing international games on a Japanese console, some games will boot as Japanese versions.
(e.g., text and titles may appear in Japanese)
*While we believe it can be used with Mega Drive consoles other than the early model (the type with 16BIT and gold lettering on the console), there are some consoles without Mark III compatibility mode, so operation is not guaranteed on Mega Drive consoles other than the early model. (In such cases, we can offer return support.)
*This product will not work when connected via the Super 32X.
